THAT IS WHY THEY ARE CALLED "WATCHERS" RATHER THAN BIDDERS OR BUYERS. SO ... NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE BIDS, PURCHASES, ETC. WHILE I'M STILL AROUND. THANKS TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE PURCHASED IN THE PAST AND ALL THOSE WHO STILL DO. - First, let me say as an introduction, that I have been retired now for a number of years. In short, I would no longer be considered a young man. I have been trying to divest myself of a life-long accumulation of many areas in collectibles including records, CDs, comics, sports cards, movie stills, sports photos, autographs, movies, etc. for quite a while now. I have been able to move a lot of items through the years but time is growing shorter daily and, frankly, I'm getting tired of doing this. At the present rate of sale it will take well past my 2,000th birthday to sell the couple of hundred items I am listing and I would like to move these items on to new homes while I am still living. It does not mean I am willing to give away my items for pennies on the dollar though. Offers MAY be considered if they are reasonable. Just to make it clear since most of you don't understand this, 10% - 20% is NOT a reasonable offer. Not even close in fact. In most cases a reasonable offer starts at 75% - 80% depending on the item and sometimes even higher on items with greater demand. There is absolutely no way I am going to sell items valued at $100.00 for the $10.00 - $20.00 offers I keep getting. That is a "lowball" offer and of no interest to me. I am going to have to set minimum bid amounts where we can at least discuss a possible deal to eliminate this problem going forward. I preferred not doing it this way but you have forced my hand.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      All international and any U.S. transactions of $20.00 or more will require full value insurance to protect both parties against scammers. The cost will be included in the shipping charge. Since most of my customers prefer to have their items shipped by the fastest means possible I offer Priority Mail as my first choice of service. It also provides insurance on items shipped below the $50.00 amount. If you choose to ship by another method that is your choice but most items will require insurance as an additional charge. Also, payment is expected within 4 days time. If payment is not received within that time period the transaction will be cancelled. This will originate automatically from Ebay. It will not come from me and is not meant as a personal insult. If your are the type who can't handle that there is a very simple solution - make prompt payment. Payment takes a couple of MINUTES so I feel that 4 DAYS is certainly sufficient time to get it done. AGAIN, UNDERSTAND THAT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WISH TO SHIP BY SOME METHOD OTHER THAN PRIORITY - IT IS UP TO YOU TO MAKE THAT KNOWN UP FRONT. ANY METHOD YOU CHOOSE MUST BE TRACKABLE IN ORDER TO PREVENT THE DISHONEST FOLKS FROM RECEIVING THEIR ITEMS AND THEN CLAIMING THAT THEY DID NOT GET THEM. INSURANCE COSTS MAY THEN BE ADDED TO THE SHIPPING CHARGE. IF DAMAGE OCCURS DURING SHIPPING,PROOF OF DAMAGE WILL BE REQUIRED TO PREVENT SCAMMING SINCE ANYONE CAN CLAIM DAMAGE WHETHER IT HAS OCCURRED OR NOT.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Bidders will be blocked from participating in my auctions for any of the following reasons : 1. Not paying for your winning bids   2. Ridiculous low-ball offers   3. Leaving false, misleading, or inappropriate feedback   4. Blaming me for things clearly out of my control. For example, leaving negative feedback for slow delivery. I ship all packages within 1 day of receiving payment (sometimes even the same day). That is the end of my responsibility as far as getting your item to you quickly ! If the U.S. Postal Service is slow in getting the mail to you quickly that is NOT MY FAULT and leaving negative feedback for me for their failure is ridiculous !   5. Belligerent and / or abusive behavior or communication - In short, I do not treat people in that manner and I am not going to be treated that way. At my age (or any age for that matter) putting up with that type of behavior in order to make a sale is simply not worth it to me. If that is who you are I have no desire to deal with you and ask that you purchase elsewhere.   6. Issues caused by buyers who will not read listing info. THE #1 PROBLEM THAT OCCURS ON EBAY IS BUYERS REFUSING TO READ THE LISTING INFO WHICH IN TURN LEADS TO ERRORS AND MISUNDERSTANDINGS AND, EVENTUALLY, BLAMING THE SELLER FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS CLEARLY EXPLAINED AND IGNORED. Most of these once graced the walls at the record store to advertise new releases and / or concerts. As a result most have been displayed and contain the type of issues consistent with being hung on and removed from walls plus years of subsequent storage. Such issues would be : tape or adhesive square removal residue, tears and / or paper loss from that removal, creasing and / or folds from storage, occasional pin holes in the corners, writing on back indicating the poster was "saved for me" so it would not be thrown away, and so on. So … they are far from perfect but I just couldn't toss them out and thought others like myself might want these pieces of advertising history from the blues genre. In most cases I believe the photos will offer a fair glimpse at the condition of the fronts. I did not include back photos but you should assume that ANY DISPLAYED poster will have the issues mentioned on the reverse side and many will also have issues such as these or tape still attached to the poster on the front as well. Many of the posters were NOT DISPLAYED and, as a result, will be in nicer condition. Just be glad that someone saved them and can offer them at all. If you have specific questions regarding particular posters please ask. This lengthy explanation is given so you will be aware of what you are looking at and purchasing and there will be no complaints afterwards of "You didn't tell me there was damage to the posters." Just to make this totally clear - You receive ANY 1 POSTER of your choice for the winning bid price (whatever it may end up being). You DO NOT RECEIVE ALL 3 POSTERS for the winning bid amount . The posters are : 1. Jimi Hendrix - Band of Gypsies (Capitol Records) This is likely the most highly sought after poster in this lot as it features the man most believe to be the finest blues-rock guitarist ever. Even with the tape on the corners and writing on the back of the poster this remains a prized collectible. I have a lesser condition copy also which is offered in another auction lot currently listed.   2. Peter Green - White Sky This is a very scarce rarely seen poster as most all posters of Peter are. It has been stored folded and was NOT DISPLAYED, meaning it is in very nice condition for a poster of this age.   3. Eric Clapton - Crossroads Box Set (Polydor Records) Another poster which was NOT DISPLAYED and is in pretty nice condition for the age. It was stored rolled as opposed to folded. All posters that were stored rolled will be mailed rolled in an oversized Priority Mail holder surrounded in packing material as I do not have hard mailing tubes of this size. I have shipped a number of them this way, including overseas, without damage thus far. ATTENTION : Posters that have been stored folded may be shipped folded in what may be a safer way to avoid damage. If you choose to do so you MUST wait for me to get a shipping quote at the Post Office the following day and send an invoice.
