Description
Original mono pressing released on 12 May 1967, 41 years old and very rare.
Lovely thick vinyl has several visible scratches, two of which are feelable. See photos for examples of the scratches. I listened to the record this afternoon and there are no skips or jumps and the record plays through without any sticking but there is some surface noise, crackle, clicks, pops etc. Despite the above mentioned defects the record is still very listenable. The music is so loud and the guitar so overdriven and in your face that any extra noise become part of the whole experience.
The beautiful laminated front cover has some creases, some discoloration and pale stains on back and a little wear on edges, still looks great though. There is no writing on the sleeve, labels or cover as the pictures show particularly if you enlarge them. Cover has also become partly unglued, nothing serious and easy to reglue. The cover is in pretty good condition in my opinion, particularly for its age.
A slice of history.
Selling as am moving house.
