Jimi Hendrix Experience - Axis: Bold As Love - FIRST U.K. PRESS 1967. Vinyl, 12” LP, Stereo, Gatefold. Runout numbers 613003 A118. B side is similar but hard to make out... looks like 613003 B112.
Info: This is a 54 year old record therefore has a bit of ware and tear, but nothing that overly ruins it as a collectors item.
It plays through without any jumps or skips on my player, but it does have significant background noise due to the many light scratches on the record. This has been well loved and played over the years, but all in all still plays and is enjoyable on a decent player with decent speakers but please note you have been notified as this is far from mint as you can see on the pics.
The sleeve itself is a bit beaten up again due to age, has wear and tear around edges and a small tear on the rear of sleeve, back bottom left/side depending which way you hold it. Also has marks throughout but again nothing to take away from it’s originality.
I would rate the sleeve as G+ and the record as VG- as it does play all the way through but does have significant background noise (a lot of people like the authenticity of that old school fuzz) this could be potentially kept as a display piece and framed. Or just kept as a piece of history.
Taking serious offers only/swaps. Median sale price of this record is £125 and goes upwards of £300. I will send this item tracked despite listed postage cost.
I know this is pretty beaten up hence the price. I have been transparent enough in the description so no messing about with returns please. Don’t be expecting a £300 record for this price. But it’s still a nice item to own...
