This 200g stereo LP of The Jimi Hendrix Experience album Axis: Bold as Love was reissued in Japan by Universal Music probably in 2008 (catalogue # UIJY-9007). The record is in near mint condition with no scratches or scuffs. I bought it new when it was first released, cleaned it with a VPI record cleaner, and treated it with LAST record preservative. I have only played it a few times and listened to it recently. The sound is very good with very little surface noise. The record contains the OBI (unlike earlier OBI’s, this one wraps around the spine of the record rather than as a band around the entire cover). There is also a lyric sheet in English and some notes in Japanese. The inner cover is similar to that of the German pressing I have, in that it has a photograph of The Experience rather than the lyrics to the songs. The songs include: EXP; Up from the skies; Spanish castle magic; Wait until tomorrow; Ain’t no telling; Little Wing; If 6 was 9; You got me floatin’; Castles made of sand; She’s so fine; One rainy wish; Little miss lover; and Bold as love. Multiple LPs can be combined in a shipment to save shipping costs.
