Jimi Hendrix Experience "Axis Bold as Love" Original 1967 first UK Black pressing.
I bought this LP back in 1967 (I was 16 years old then and mad on Hendrix!!!), and have had it in my record collection ever since. I am now having a clear out of my collection. This is an original 1967 LP, complete with the orange lyric sheet, which, although has some creases from storage, has no pin or tape marks. The condition of the gatefold sleeve is, in my opinion, reasonable for its age, with some slight wear to the top and bottom of the spine and very slight wear on the corners, which I have tried to show in the pictures. The small sticker advertising the shop where I bought the LP from in 1967 is still attached to one corner of the sleeve. The actual LP record itself does have scratches and marks on both sides which are very difficult to show in a photograph but the actual album still plays well, with associated pops and crackles from age, use and of course scratches. It is a Mono recording 612003 which are becoming rarer to get hold of nowadays.
A great piece of memorabilia from a superb artist of his time.
This LP is by no means in mint condition, so if you are looking for excellent condition this is probably not for you. It would probably be of more interest to a collector as a rare item rather than for its condition and I have therefore priced it accordingly. Please bear this in mind if you decide to make a bid.
