This exceptional UK 1st pressing 2-LP set dates from initial October 1968 release on the Track Records label: 613008/9

Disc 1 (sides A & D)

Matrix numbers: 613008 (corrected) A//1 & 613008 (corrected) B//1

Vinyl weight: 133g

Disc 2 (sides B & C)

Matrix numbers: 612009 (corrected) A//1 & 613009 (hand-etched) B//1

Vinyl weight: 147g

Housed in fully laminated 'Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd' printed gatefold cover with white text inside

Complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeves

All 4 are in superb shape with just a single tiny mark around the centre hole of labels C & D only.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which appear 'as new' in strong daylight. Close and careful examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few barely visible paper hairlines, which I really struggles to find. You will not find a better copy and I guarantee you will not be disappointed with this spectacular set.

Sound Quality: MINT

This barely, if ever, played copy sounds totally flawless throughout and will not require upgrading.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A superb example of this naughty cover which retains an unscratched, unworn high-gloss laminate inside & out

The front panel is unrubbed & unscratched with the only sign of use being two 'thumbnails' & a single tiny spine wrinkle

The rear panel is just a glossy but without any 'thumbnails' or creasing of any kind

There is a little shelfwear in the form of slight bruising to each corner, but all opening edges are undamaged

Inside, both panels are glossy and unblemished with just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle on Jimi's portrait

All seams are smooth & unstressed and the unworded spine is square, fully laminated and unworn

Inner-sleeves: EXCELLENT

Clean & uncreased with slight age-toning but no writing, tears or seam splits to either.
