CONDITION
Disc
Labels: MINT
A pristine set with just one single mark from the factory around the centre hole on disc 1 only, but no trace of any wear to any centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 100% unmarked and as new when viewed in strong daylight. Even close and careful examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few barely visible paper hairlines and a sparkling rainbow shine. All sides also lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing and make this investment-grade set impossible to upgrade.
Sound Quality: MINT
Flawless and wonderful sound quality throughout every track on these pristine discs. My single careful play-check at volume found no evidence whatsoever of any groove/playwear or even a single clicks, tick or pop. In fact, apart from the usual low-level vinyl background on the run-ins, this is as good a sounding set as you will ever come across.
You can listen to 'All Along The Watchtower' recorded directly from this copy on the You Tube player below:
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A superb example of this naughty cover which retains an superb high-gloss laminate inside & out.
The front panel bears just a faint, unavoidable disc impression along with a single tiny 'thumbnail' and a few tiny storage scratches. The rear panel is just as glossy has a single small bend towards the lower left corner but has no 'thumbnails' or indeed any other signs of wear. There is slight bruising to the corner and a little wear to the upper opening edge of the rear pocket but no tears or splits anywhere.
Both panels of the inside of the gatefold are perfectly glossy and unworn. Both seams are smooth and unstressed and the unworded spine is fully laminated and unworn along its entire length.
Inner-sleeves: VERY GOOD +
Both are uncreased with some discolouration to the paper on each and a small tear to the rear window of one, but both are free from any writing, seam splits or tears.
