True 1st pressing with white lettering (blue lettering denotes 2nd pressing). Track Record original with upside down matrix numbers and cover that opens to the right.

Vinyl is in overall VG+ condition with light paper scuffs and un-feelable scratches. Side A has the most scuffing that causes crackling in quieter passages. The other sides are quieter and solid, overall a great listening "experience "!

The glossy laminated cover has creasing and wear around the edges, overall VG condition.

First press of gatefold sleeve, featuring the controversial image (censored by some outlets at the time) of naked ladies on front/back.

Discerning characteristics of this version:

Cover spread has 'unwrapped/floating' gloss laminate applied, matt print areas left exposed at the two cut edges where the albums insert.

Hendrix on the right hand side when opening the gatefold (behind back sleeve).

Small sepia images of Redding & Mitchell on left (Front cover behind it), with white tracks/credit text below them. "Track Record" logo center, E.J.Day print data to left. Erratic use of upper & lower-case in titles.

NO printing to the left of the Track logo inside the gatefold.

Discs in poly-lined white paper punch-hole sleeves. "Patent no 800513 & 973939" "Made in England 108 42".

Disc 1 carries sides A and D, disc two has B and C.

On disc 2, side C the machine-stamped run-out has been scratched out and the correct info has been added by hand.

In the BAOI field a ''?'' denotes a scratched-out character.
