COMMENTS: This is where it truly all began in more ways then one. First the Monterey Pop Festival had been going on for years but mainly as a venue for Jazz artists. That all changed in 1967. The promoter elected to show case rock and pop bands for that year. This is THE real beginning of rock festivals. Second at the time no one needed any introduction to Otis Redding. Otis was already a well established singer with many hits to his credit. There were a number of other well known acts however for some acts like Jimi this was a first for him as a show case act in the States. This was a legendary performance never to be repeated. 

Here I have a new and sealed copy on Reprise with paste on covers and breath holes. This is NOT a re-issue. The LP is obviously unplayed. The cover is still in the original shrink wrap. There are no cuts, no bends no club edition and no barcode. It's the real deal.

Overseas is $16.50 for the first disc and $6.50 each additional disc.
