Newport 69 / Devonshire Downs Concert Programme
As stated on my other listings, after nearly 40 years of collecting everything and anything to do with JH, difficult personal circumstances are forcing me to sell off some of the prized items of my collection.
On offer here is an original programme for the Newport 1969 festival with the Experience playing on the 20th June. As most JH afficianados will know, the group did not put in a good performance and Jimi played a free show 2 days later with Buddy Miles.
The programme is really large, measuring approximately 10" x 8" and contains 36 pages, with pictures and articles on all the major artists. It is in MINT condition- no rips, tears or writing and hardly any sign of age.
About 5 years ago, concert programmes turned up on a regular basis on eBay but not now and the chances of seeing this item again, in this condition, are virtually NIL. If you are a serious Hendrix collector, this is a "must have". These items I am listing are real Hendrix treasures and it genuinely hurts to let them go.
I want it to go to another Jimi home and not some rip off dealer, so another low starting bid (considering the rarity) and no reserve!!
