It's Back - on coloured vinyl! But in very limited quantity - The Jimi Hendrix Classic Singles Collection of ten 7" singles. The story is that when Classic moved to our new facility (The original RCA Records warehouse building adjacent to the old pressing plant/ recording studios in Hollywood) we unearthed parts for the original version of this handsome edition including boxes, booklets and a few sleeves. We finally got around to pitching the idea of bringing the set back on a very limited basis to John McDermott at Experience Hendrix. John said "let's go for it" but how about coloured vinyl? We said "Cool" and so we pressed some new sleeves and coloured vinyl singles for this special limited edition reissue just in time for the Holidays.

Each single includes a picture sleeve and all are boxed in the now famous Marshal Amp replica package with a deluxe 20 page booklet with an essay by Steve Rodham and produced by Janie Hendrix and John McDermott at Experience Hendrix. This set got a great write up in Stereophile magazine long after it was out of print (go figure) and now is your chance to get a copy in the soon to be 'ultra rare' coloured vinyl limited edition' version. Act quickly before they sell out.

Under license from and with full co-operation with the Hendrix Estate/Experience Hendrix L.L.C., this 10 disc set of 45 RPM Singles features some of Jimi Hendrix greatest songs. Housed in a miniature replica of a Jimi Hendrix model Marshall Amplifier, the discs each transferred from the Original Master Tapes under the supervision of the original Engineer, Eddie Kramer, relive the late sixties when Hendrix was breaking down all musical barriers and taking lead rock guitar to another stratosphere.

The picture sleeve for the singles have been culled from various past international releases from around the world including Japanese (Polydor), France (Barclay), and the U.K. (Trak and Polydor), most of them being ultra rare and collectible. A booklet with essays regarding the facts behind the recording of these sides plus beautiful pictures of Hendrix in action are included in the Set.

Note: These 45 Singles feature a small standard spindle hole so no 45 adapter is required. This collection is Very Rare!
