Description
? Jimi Hendrix Vinyl Record "The Singles Album." Two Record Set (EX) ?
Designed as a "Puppet Cover," and manufactured in typical fashion by Polydor. Features a compilation of songs that included some very popular songs as well as obscure ones. Altogether, there are 23 Hendrix singles included in a 2-record set that were released between 1967 and 1983.
The mix is done very nicely, ranging from the hit songs like "Hey Joe" and "Purple Haze," to lesser known songs such as "The Stars That Play With Laughing Sames Dice." Although the majority of the songs are the more popular ones (see music tracks at bottom).
The backside of the album cover gives a good rundown of each song's history and their position on the charts. The album unfolds out into a nice collage of LP's and 45's spread out along the entire width and length of the gatefold. Overall, a very nice project by Polydor, and you will hear nothing less that the best online reviews centering on uniqueness of design, quality of manufacturing, selection of songs, and high-standard and clarity of sound.
The front and back covers (high gloss) are in excellent condition. Surface and playing quality are excellent. Both records show very minor warping, but does not affect playing quality. The gatefold interior and sleeves are excellent. Album is protected with an archival quality sheet protector made of clear flexible CPP polypropylene.
