Don't miss this chance to bid a nice copy of one of the earliest picture discs and one of the most sought after early country collectibles. Does not show up for auction very often.
This is the holy grail of Country 78's — this is the Original Jimmie Rodgers picture disc! Due to RCA's limited mastery of picture disc manufacturing when this was released, many copies did not hold up well over the years. This copy is solid, intact and in good shape, with a light crack in the laminate on the A side. Please refer to the photographs, which indicate the cracks and the edge wear. A few laminate cracks on the B side. Edge wear, light scratches and marks on both sides. — This is one of the, if not THE FIRST PICTURE DISCS.
Disc played by seller one time on each side with no skips or grooves repeating. Sold as is.
