This is the album some claim is when the Parrot Head phenomenon started as it contains the
#1 Parrot Head Song .......MARGARITAVILLE
Also contains the title song “Changes in Latitudes Changes in Attitudes”, “Miss You So Badly” and the song that speaks of departure
“Lovely Cruise” ( RIP Jimmy Buffett)
This original release has a great Gatefold of pictures and the record sleeve has all the song lyrics on both sides
The cover also has the compass points embossed
(Don’t be fooled, the re release copies while nice, do not have the embossed cover, or gatefold and record is in plain sleeve )
Vinyl: Conservatively VG+ to Near Mint - , the record has great gloss and shows only a couple very slight scratches. (I played the record and there is absolutely no hint of the scratches….it plays beautifully)
Cover: VG+ the cover shows minor wear from handling and storage but NO RING WEAR and the cover shows well.
I have had this album for a very long time and noticed a very slight moisture staining on bottom edge of cover. There is no damage to the cover but it does have slight staining. Take a good look at the picture.
(If you were to frame the album, the stain could be matted out/not seen at all).
In my opinion, this is one of the nicest albums available for sale.
