What you are looking at is one of the rarest Jimmy Buffett items out there! This is a near perfect copy of his first single ever recorded.
Side A - “Abandoned On Tuesday
Side B - “Don’t Bring Me Candy”
Jimmy would sell these out of his trunk after his gigs at the Admirals Corner Lounge in Mobile, AL.
Travis Turk, a local deejay who engineered recordings on the side produced the record under his Audio Mobile label. “I think we burned 25 or 50 discs and gave them to him in a box,” Turk recalled more than 50 years later in a phone call from his studio in Nashville. “But he stashed them in his mother’s attic and they melted so there aren’t many of them left.”
