Description
Up for auction is a record from what was my wife's collection. I found this one in the upstairs closet, way in the back, in a brown paper bag, clustered with several other Buffett albums. I didn't know my wife had them. We never had a record player until around 2010. I needed one then because my father-in-law had just passed away a few years earlier and I had promised him I would try to sell the albums he had collected over the years. My wife and I never had a record player before that because my wife couldn't say no to any stray cat that decided to show up on our doorstep, and everyone knows that cats and turntables don't mix. It wasn't too bad. My wife and I didn't go without Buffett music. We just had it on cassettes and CD's. As for this album, I think my wife bought it a second hand record store. I think I know which one, but it went out of business a long time ago. The album cover shows some light wear on some of its edges, mainly by the corners. There's a marker squiggle on the album cover front, right in Jimmy's hair. It may be a two, but I'm not sure. I listened to the album and was shocked. I was expecting some pops and hisses in the background, but the album sounds great, as if new. The particulars are as follows: "Last Mango in Paris" - Jimmy Buffett - MCA Records - 1985 - no.
