RIAA Recording Industry Association 1181731 Certified Sales Award Released in July of 2001, Bleed American changed its name to Jimmy Eat World following the September 11th terrorist attacks. This album marked the first time in which Jim Adkins took over the entirety of vocal duty from Tom Linton, a trend which would continue for the rest of the band’s career. The album would go on to peak at no. 31 on the Billboard chart, while producing the single “The Middle” which reached no. 5. The album is certified platinum.
This Platinum was Presented to Woody Houston-WKFR To Commemorate RIAA Certified Sales of More Than 1,000,000 Copies of the DREAMWORKS RECORDS Compact Disc and Cassette "BLEED AMERICAN" He was known by fans of WKFR 103.3 as radio host, Woody Houston, and his biker friends as Wooster. He was also a chef at Vanderbilt hospital in Nashville, TN. Riding motorcycles, cooking and music where some of his passions.
