"Love Me" b/w "Lips That Kiss So Swiftly" 7" Vinyl Single
This is a very rare 7" rockabilly single. Issued as Chess 4863, this features a red Chess label and is stamped in blue ink with 'D.J. Copy' & 'Not For Sale'. Matrix #'s in the run-off are 45-7768 & 45-7769. "Love Me" is a fine, ripping rockabilly number while "Lips That Kiss So Sweetly" is more of an uptempo country twanger. I may be wrong about this but I don't recall seeing a red Chess label before. I believe this came out in about 1955. All in all, a pretty rare find!SEE PICS BELOW!
CONDITION -
Jacket: N/A -- no picture sleeve.
Vinyl: Visually, this looks fairly rough with a lot of surface scratches and scuffs. The vinyl is clean and reasonably bright. On playback, there are occasional pops and some background noise but the sound is strong and bright. There were no skips on either side. TRACKS - SEE PICS BELOW
