Description
Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.
This is an auction for: Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - Walking into Clarksdale - RARE Original Double Vinyl LP album 1998.
Original Genuine 1998 Pressing.
Vinyl Condition: VG (Some light superficial surface marks some the card inner sleeves but nice condition and playback. There is a white scuff mark visible on the first track on side2 but this is very light and does not affect the play. Overall both records are in good condition and play very well. Some light crackle but no sticks or jumps. A great album and a pleasure to listen to).
Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (No splits. Nice condition).
Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Gatefold sleeve is generally in very nice condition. There is however an approx 8cm split along the bottom edge. This is a deep split and is the main reason for the downgrade. Apart from that the sleeve is very nice. Slight scuff to the top edge and some light edge and corner wear & creasing. Overall sleeve has a split to the bottom but is generally very nice for its age).
I grade my vinyl’s as follows:
M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.
Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.
If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Please note: Due to the large amount of CD’s and records that I am selling, I don’t have time to include the track listings. If the track listing is important to you then please email me and I will send you the track list.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR POSTAGE ADDRESS IS UP TO DATE AND CORRECT BEFORE BIDDING.
Cheers and happy bidding.
