It’s the wailing harmonica, the plaintive voice, and the Eddie Taylor-led backing which makes Reed’s music so appealing. “Rockin’ With Reed “ is devastating, the power of it almost wipes you out and from his first ever sessions too.   The other side still retains the foot tapping beat, but isn’t quite so in-your-face impressive, but then how could it be?
