Description: 1964 Mono 1st press on Vee Jay Records. Has the VJ in Brackets/Rainbow border label. This one was pressed at Monarch Record Mfg, which was known for high-quality pressings back in the day due to their proprietary vinyl formulation. The mono version of this record is also somewhat difficult to track down.
Sleeve Condition: VG+, sleeve has great color, presents very well. No splits or tears or major ring wear. Spine is very readable. Has just a bit of surface wear at the bottom and some wear to the top left corner (see pics). Back is very clean with no scuffing or writing. Has original printed VJ inner sleeve. This is a pretty solid VG+ in my eyes, maybe a weaker VG+ if you give more weight to the surface wear.
Vinyl: Strong VG+ to VG++, visually this is gorgeous, very clean. No scuffs or scratches - nothing that affects playback. Play tested and this sounds great, comes through clean and clear. No pops, skips, etc. Labels are both very clean with a tiny bit of spindle marks. No writing or fading. This can't have been played more than a few times, just great condition overall. You'll be very pleased with this one. Don't miss grabbing it today!
