NOTE; Hello rare Boola Boola Records  and James Brown vinyl collectors!  Here is a great once in a lifetime opportunity to buy and own this one of a kind, one of two pressed only vinyl record from the Boola-Boola Record label!  You will NEVER find this vinyl anywhere but right here.
 This is a very rare unreleased and only one of two pressed vinyl copy to exist.  I have this vinyl's information listed on the discography websites Discogs and 45Cat.  I did not give correct details at the time on both discography sites. It has been so long since I posted on those website, I have no way to update the information now. I will give those correct details here on this listing. I will give a detailed history behind this vinyl below the description. Be sure to read "History"

Condition:  Mint Minus (M-) ~ Pristine and flawless.  I played this only once and recorded this vinyl and posted on Youtube. You can hear it there.
************************************* HISTORY: The information might be a bit lengthy but well worth reading the details.
In 2016 I got a hold of this vinyl along with several of James Brown's band members solo vinyls, just to name one in that collection was Little Bobby Roach.  I did not connect the dots at first between Joan Adams with Alfred "Al" Corley being with  "James Brown and J.C. Davis" .  I was trying for  quite a few days to find out the details of this Boola Boola  label with Joan Adams. Then after about 4-5 days searching I finally found Joan Adams.  Joan is listed on a few websites, which you can Google by these names - "Sugar Pie Desanto Jasman Records" - "Jim Moore Jasman Records" and also "Opalnations Jasman Records" - in the Opalnations website, it gives very good details  about who Joan Adams was. She went by a stage name at one time of Ernestine Moore. She auditioned for the band The Intervals, but Denise Perrier got the job. Count Basie wanted Joan Adams in his band at one point as well. JIM MOORE:  Jasman Records is owned by Jim "James" Moore.He created Jasman Records in 1959 because of Joan Adams! I sent Jim Moore an email asking him about this vinyl. Mr Moore replied right away and asked me to call him. I called Mr Moore and the first question he asked me was ,"Where did you find that record?"  I told him I bought a collection of 45s and the Joan Adams record was there in the group.
Mr Moore asked where I lived and where I found the record. I told him I lived in a small town just north of Dayton, Ohio and west of Columbus. He asked how far I was from Columbus, Ohio. I told Mr Moore, from where I found the records, about 40 miles west of Columbus. Then it all started to make sense to Mr Moore....But before I get into that story, I will explain more about that later.
First of all, Mr Moore was confused about the record even existing in the first place. He said he recorded six songs of Joan Adams, I do not remember how many with Al Corley in the mid-1960s on reel to reel at his Sierra Sound Studio. All six songs were NEVER EVER released. He later had this recording "I'm Glad To Be In San Francisco" pressed at Boola Boola in 1969. Only two copies were ever pressed. Both vinyls were unreleased and one was originally his own personal copy from what I understood. I do not remember who got the second copy. I believe it was either Joan Adams or Willie Hoskins at Boola-Boola Records.
Now back to the Columbus,Ohio and Al Corley story. Mr Moore told me the story about James Brown and the Famous Flames were touring and stopped in San Francisco during the mid-1960s. Al Corley was the tenor saxophone player with the James Brown band.  Jim Moore had this chuckle when he explained that Al Corley met this young lady while in San Francisco and he fell in love. Al Corley said he was quitting James Brown's band to be with this lady.
Later, Al Corley needed to make some money and was playing gigs here and there. He ended up playing some tracks for Joan Adams at Mr Moore's Sierra Sound Studio. Less than a year later, Al Corley fell out of love and went back to James Brown. Al Corley died around or right before 1969 and Jim Moore had two records pressed and therefore the label's reference of "Feat.The Late Al Corley on Tenor Sax"
Now for the Columbus,Ohio connection. Mr Moore explained to me that most of James Brown members were from the Columbus,Ohio area. James Brown was well known for recording at King record in Cincinnati,Ohio. So there were quite a bit of Ohio connections.
The last time Mr Moore remembered was this vinyl was put up in a closet with the reel to reel tapes of Joan Adams. On October 20, 1991 and for three days, San Francisco had a big raging wildfire that burned 1,850 acres and over 2,700 structures in the East Bay Oakland Hills. Mr Moore lost everything to this fire. He was sure that this vinyl and the reel to reels were gone forever. Then I called him.... and he was shocked. 
Mr Moore told me he was getting ready to make a CD from the 6 songs that Joan Adams did, but the fire ended that dream for him.
So,  Mr Moore and I came up with a theory about this vinyl. We  thought maybe perhaps one of the James Brown band members or just someone in some other band got a hold of this Joan Adams record. I kind of agree with Mr Moore that perhaps someone from the James Brown band might have gotten a hold of this vinyl because, all the other vinyls that came with this Joan Adams record. 
SPECIAL NOTE: The funny thing too is, the solos records that came with this Joan Adams record are from various artists from the James Brown band and may also include the Famous Flames as well, HOWEVER, all the solo records include Al Corley in the collection. (Again, Little Bobby Roach was one of them) The rest is history! 
J.C. DAVIS CONNECTION: Also, JC Davis  aka James C Davis or as JC Davis Band, was the leader of the "James Brown band". JC Davis was also a sax player as well. JC Davis eventually settled in Circleville, Ohio, which is South of Columbus,Ohio.  JC Davis created his own record label company in Circleville. I believe the label company was called "Ohio Soul"  I have been trying to locate Mr JC Davis. It is unclear if he is still alive at this point. If I can get more info from him or his family, this may clear up who is who and MAYBE  tell me how this vinyl ended up in this area.

************************************************************************ TAX PAYMENTS INCLUDED: Tax is included on all and any online "marketplace" sites now ( Ebay is not alone).  I have not sold on Ebay for a couple of years. I just learned that Congress had passed a law that took effect in January 1, 2019 to collect tax from online sales. I called Ebay to ask how this worked. I was told that depending on the BUYER'S home State, that State collects a percentage, for example: if you, the BUYER'S home  State charges 7%, then that 7% is charged to the total amount of the sale. When a BUYER pays the invoice, Ebay then collects the tax money and pays it directly to the Buyer's home State. The SELLER never sees any of the money.
