Mega Rare LP of Joe Henderson - Page One (Blue Note 4140 - mono) Original blue and white New York USA labels with Van Gelder and ear on both sides. Henderson's first Blue Note LP also features Kenny Dorham, Pete La Roca, McCoy Tyner and Butch Warren in an acknowledged classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG+ condition with marks that will make noise - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still you will hear some noise on this one. The cover is in VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, minor staining towards the cover bottom (also a minor split on the bottom at the opening) and writing on the back liner - also a name written on the labels. Not perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at this price?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world). Mailing costs as calculated below to a U.S. address. Overseas winners will be quoted the appropriate mailing rate at the close of the auction. Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together.
