Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped pressing of Joe Jones “Boogaloo Joe” on the blue and silver trident labels of Prestige PRST 7697.  The playing surface has light storage splotching but is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The coated cover is bright and clean throughout; the front has a light adhesive stain near the upper left corner from a sticker removal and light rubbing at the top and bottom.  Personnel include Rusty Bryant, Sonny Phillips, Eddie Mathias, and Bernard Purdie.  $100.00
