Description

Excellent copy (apart from one very tight stable crack on the "Ringside" side, which ticks slightly for about a minute and some scrapes and grazes NAP). A little more evidence of slight early wear on the "Ringside" side. Good shine and plays with good fidelity and low background noise. A classic NO Jazz performance from the Harmony Kings with Joe Mannone's trademark vocals, recorded on 11 April 1927 in New Orleans. Visual Grade is E-/E and plays around E to E+, apart from the ticks which do not affect play quality.
A very rare and desirable early Mannone recording.
