Description
vinyl LP pressing. For Django, recorded for Pacific Jazz in 1964, has long been considered a classic by jazz guitarist Joe Pass. He pays tribute to Django Reinhardt without attempting to emulate him in any way. Rather, he honors him by using his own style with fellow guitarist John Pisano as well as bassist Jim Hughart and drummer Colin Bailey. Highlights include "Rosetta," "Nuages," and "Fleur D' Ennui." Blue Note Tone Poet Series features all-analog, remastered sound. Number of Tracks 10 Number of Discs 2, Release Date 1964 DISC 1: 1. Django 2. Rosetta 3. Nuages 4. For Django 5.
