9: Few, very light, faint surface scratches/marks.
(no skips. few smudges visible at certain angles)
8: Moderate amount of, light surface scratches/marks
(no skips. number of smudges or light scratches visible at certain angles)
7: Numerous, noticeable scratches/marks
(visible scratches at any angle. might affect a song or two)
6: Large scratches/marks.
(2 or more deep scratches. will skip at least 2 songs)
Cover:
10: New
9: Minor blemishes.
8: Moderate record impressions & creases.
7: Noticeable cover art blemishes, pronounced creases & bends.
6: Heavy scratches, creases & bends.

Inner sleeves were rated mostly on pic/art quality.
Split sides are common & wasn't a big factor in grading.
