Description
Two contrasting side-long all-electronic constructions. Side A is a series of complex oscillator phrases for Moog synthesizer and ring modulator. Side B is an evolving almost lawnmower-like textural drone that at times verges on industrial onslaught. Very spacy.
Vinyl looks excellent with only a couple of small light scratches that were inaudible on my player. There is slight warping that can be seen when it's spinning. Side A is very quiet with very few extremely light ticks that wouldn’t be audible in other musical source material. Warping is more audible at the beginning of side B and made a bumping noise on my player especially toward the beginning of the side.
Vinyl: G+ (downgraded because of warp) Cover: G+ (downgraded because of snags)
All of this music was composed in 1971 and captures the excitement of the emerging synthesizer technology of the time.
