Johann Sebastian Bach complete SUITES FOR SOLO CELLO performed by Pierre Fournier on ORIGINAL, FIRST PRESSING ARCHIV IN STEREO #198 356-58. These records are in UNPLAYED NEAR MINT +++ CONDITION and they are in the original cloth bound box that is also in near mint condition. This is the absolute, FIRST PRESSING with the designation STEREO in a rectangular box on top of the labels next to the designation Alle Hersteller. This only appears this way on the very first pressing. The enclosed large booklet is also in mint condition as is the enclosed rectangular card with the technical information about the recording. This brilliantly performed set is almost never seen in its absolute first pressing incarnation. I can also state with absolute certainty (I have collected various pressings of this set for years) that this first pressing has far superior sound over the later pressings that flood the sites on Ebay. The cellos sound is tonally rich and fills the room with the full spectrum of instrumental sound.. Extremely rare opportunity to get this incomparable set in superb unplayed condition in its very first pressing incarnation.
