John Carter / Bobby Bradford (secrets) (Revelation 18)
The second intense Carter-Bradford collaboration for the independent label; like Revelation 9, recorded at Occidental college, Los Angeles
Carter (as, cl); Bradford (t); Nate Morgan or Bill Henderson (p); Louis Spears or Henry Franklin (b); Ndugu or Bruz Freeman (d).
Something about the improvisatory performances of these two west-coast avant gardists on their home turf that remains special - unique - in their discographies.
All performances but one were recorded on 4 april 1972; that one on 9 november 1971.
Issue: This is the original release, which appeared once Revelation had relocated to Florida.

Side A runout: REV-18-A Side B runout: REV-18-B RE Condition: LP is NM: No marks; immaculate. Played once. No spindle wear. In original paper sleeve, which also shows no sign of wear.
LP cover photo, artwork, and text, front, and text, back, are as clean and mark-free as they were when I bought the record new. Spine is perfect but for a tiny bend at top.
I'm an independent seller, a jazz fan, divesting his own record collection. I'm not selling from a store or warehouse, with multiple copies of titles, or on behalf of a professional collector.

Packing: The LPs will be carefully wrapped, then placed in a standard, cardboard LP box. Please indicate any special instructions.

NM A record known or assumed to have been played. May have a surface scuff mark but only from removing and reinserting record in sleeve. May have slight spindle wear. Otherwise, appears same as N in all respects.
VG++ More handling marks visible than on N-, but should play like a new record.
VG+ No more than a few minor scratches or marks which are audible. Such scratches or other defects will usually be described in specific detail. Record will usually not have any groove wear.
