Description
There are lots of things to consider when verifying the pressing of this album. There is an excellent resource online at london jazz collector. After doing some research on discogs as well I am very sure this is a copy from 1959. The identifiers are inc and r included on the label and on the back of the jacket you can see where the picture of Curtis Fuller has a rash like marking on his forehead. This could possibly be a 1960 pressing but things get a little confusing so it’s hard to tell.
Condition:
Outer Sleeve: VG
The front has nice gloss and color but has worn corners that break color. The edge has come color flakes. The back has some wear and staining with some writing check marks by the titles. There was some tape on the top which has left its evidence. Overall Very Good and presents well.
Vinyl: VG
Both sides have some marks on the vinyl that are not deep scratches. I played this album all the way through and it sounds great with average surface noise. Once the music gets going it is not noticeable.
