Description
I am reluctantly selling my late Father's extensive collection of Jazz LP's.
For Auction: John Coltrane - Giant Steps
7 Track LP on Atlantic 1311
Condition:
DISC:
The disc is in very good condition, I can see no scratches, some minor surface marks, possibly a couple of spindle marks. There is a mark at the end of side 2 track 1 about 1cm long and in line with the groove, I do not this is a scratch but have no way of playing the record to prove this. Given it's age I would imagine this record has had several playings.
INNER SLEEVE:
Inner sleeve is excellent.
OUTER COVER:
Outer sleeve is excellent but has signs of shelf, and age wear. The purchase date, 8-2-70, is written on the top centre of the outer sleeve.
Dad was very precious and protective of his LP's and took GREAT care of them, they were played on quality turntables.
I am trying to stick to the gradings from the Record Collector but as I am still new to selling vinyl this is a bit tricky and subjective, I also am unable to listen to the records. I list all of the 'defects' I can see and am probably downgrading the records.
The LP will be posted in a card record mailer.
