This is Historic Performance Records HPLP #3, John Coltrane Quartet Live At Mount Meru (Volume 2), a yellow cover and label original mono issue of this historic live session from November 19, 1962 featuring the classic quartet. The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The original plain orange cover has the proper session information written in pen, and is otherwise excellent and intact. The plain yellow labels are excellent and intact. A copy of the original advertising for the entire series will be included for the winner. This is a wonderful collector's grade copy of a historic issue of a historic concert. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be listing over the next few months. Please check our other listings.
