John Coltrane - 'Live At Birdland'
HMV - CLP 1741 - UK 1964 MONO
Vinyl/Sleeve: G+/VG
Vinyl: Good - Good +
This record has been machine cleaned and play checked. This is a Mono first pressing (A-1S / B-1S). Even after cleaning, the playing surface rather dull and mottled indicating a lot of play and handling. There are many handling hairlines, light scratches, and heavier lines - none of which are feelable - and none of these result in skips. However there are clicks at times. Side one has crackle and light clicks during track one, and some louder clicks on track two including some rotational clicks for a minute or two later on in the track - this is due to one of the heavier scuffs. Side two played through very well at VG+ (I'd say) with nothing that jumped out at me.
Sleeve: Very Good
The laminated sleeve is in sturdy condition, a strong spine, and very little edgewear. it has some laminate wrinkling/creasing but nothing too bad.
