John Coltrane "My Favorite Things" LP, Atlantic Records #1361, original mono release from 1961, original red and purple label with white fan. The record and LP cover are in near mint condition. When I found this LP at an estate sale, it was still sealed in the original plastic. It was a loose plastic, not the tight shrinkwrap so I was concerned that it might have been a reseal, and I was concerned about warpage of the record, due to age and storage, so I broke the seal, to check the condition and to check it for any warpage. Based on the condition of the LP cover and record, it was the original seal and has never been played and it is not warped. I am not listing it as "mint" only because I opened the seal and handled the record. The record is spotless and the label has no spindle scratches, since it is unplayed. The original Atlantic inner sleeve is included. The LP cover is the first issue laminated cover and both the front and back still have a nice sheen to them. There is an ink stamp at the bottom right corner of the back cover (B15), that I believe to be from the manufacturing plant. There are two very small stubs on the right edge, lower portion-see fourth photo. The spine is pristine mint with no scuffs or wear. The bottom left corner has a very small scuff where the LP cover broke through the original wrap. I am including the original plastic wrap over the record.
Most of the items I sell are vintage items that were purchased at estate sales. I can not guarantee that these items are from smoke-free homes. The items are clean but I can not guarantee that they are odor free. If you are sensitive to odors or smoke, please keep this in mind when bidding on my items. Since I am specifically stating the items may not be free of odors/scents, I will not accept returns based on scents or odors.
