Description
This is Atlantic Records 1361, John Coltrane My Favorite Things, an orange and purple black fan label 2nd edition mono issue of this classic record featuring McCoy Tyner and Elvin Jones. The record is in strong VG+ condition showing light wear and playing quietly throughout; hence the extra (+). The glossy cover has some loss on the front but much loss on the back with writing (and a wonderful sketch) in pen on the back. The labels are excellent with light spindle marks. The record was played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode and cleaned on a VPI 17. If you can accept the cover damage (and the wonderful sketch) this is still an excellent collector's grade copy of this beautiful mono recording.
