This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo pressing of John Coltrane “Plays” on the orange and black coated labels of Impulse AS-85. The playing surface is as-new, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The laminated gatefold cover is very close to new – clean and bright throughout – with sharp corners; ¼” nick on the bottom and top edges of the back panel. Illustrated inner sleeve is included.
