Description
John Coltrane Quartet Plays--Impulse A-85 mono The classic quartet featuring John Coltrane (tenor sax, soprano sax), McCoy Tyner (piano), Jimmy Garrison (bass), Elvin Jones (drums) recorded 1965. They play: Chim Chim Cheree Song Of Praise Nature Boy (Art Davis bass added) Brazilia The record, visually, is a strong VG+. There is a tiny dig near the end on "Chim Chim Cheree" and 2 light scuffs on Side 2. I spot played the record. The dig ticked lightly, almost unnoticeably due to the voulme of the music, five times. The scuffs were not a problem. The record played very nicely and, for most of it, played M-. The fold out cover is also a strong VG+. The front and insided are still glossy and show only light wear. All seams and spine are tight and intact. There are small spots of heavy wear at the bottom of spine and bottom seam at the pocket. 2 pieces of cellophane on back, totalling app 1 sq. inch are coming loose. A nice playing record in a nice appearing cover. I attempt to grade records accurately and conservatively and provide the information bidders need. I will ship record promptly, properly packed, upon receipt of payment. Satisfaction is guaranteed without hassle. I can only accept Paypal, as Ebay wil no longer allow sellers to accept checks or money orders.
