Details: A keeper copy of this excellent release featuring Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones! The vinyl appears to be just out of the shrink for the first time! This record appears to have been played sparingly if at all. High gloss with no scuffs or scratches. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. Remarkable for being 55 years old. Zoom in on the pics to see what I mean!

The laminated cover has no ring wear and only slight wear on crisp corners and edges! There are a couple of areas of de-lamination. There is also an area of what appears to be clear dry glue in the top center. There is also some writing on the top left of the inside cover. While it does reduce the value of the cover, it adds authenticity and a charming piece of history. Despite these unique features, it is still a solid, great looking cover! See the pics!

Grading: All records are visually graded using a bright lamp and the following grades.

Sealed:  Jacket sealed shut in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is".

NM: Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. I use this grade conservatively.

EX: May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play.

VG+: A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks.

VG: Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in slightly greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

VG-:  A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail.

G: Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
