Description
Scarce original copy of John Coltrane's self-titled album "Coltrane" on the venerable Impulse! label. Van Gelder is stamped in the dead wax. One of his best albums. Produced by the jazz impresario Bob Thiele.
Vinyl Condition: VG-VG+ (I know this is a confusing grade, I'm trying to be as accurate as possible, and not in any way misleading. Visually it has paper scuffs, no feeler scratches, however it is pressed on very strong quality vinyl so it plays at generally the higher level of VG+ with minimal surface noise, really it is only apparent at the beginning of a few tracks, and with a cleaning it could probably play out even better.)
