This is the original deep-groove pressing of “Mainstream 1958” on the red and silver labels of Savoy MG-12127. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated cover is bright and clean throughout; superficial lamination crease at the lower right corner of the front; lightly visible previous owner’s compression stamp at the center of the right edge on the front; 1 ½” split on the bottom seam, at the opening; store price sticker at the upper right corner of the back. Personnel include John Coltrane, Wilbur Harden, Tommy Flanagan, Doug Watkins, and Louis Hayes. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly. The “Blue Note Records” book – “A Guide for Identifying Original Pressings” is now available on eBay.
