British limited edition heavy 180g vinyl 2001 re-release score to the 1968 film "Salt And Pepper", starring Sammy Davis Jr and Peter Lawford. Music by John Dankworth.

This album has never had a CD release. Still in original protective heavy plastic outer sleeve.

Condition (refer also to notes at bottom): Vinyl: EX-M. Perfect on visual inspection. Played once since purchase. Superb. As new. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A decent listening experience to an 80s classic.
Outer Sleeve (Cover): EX-M. Colours are clear and unfaded. Still in original protective sleeve, so undamaged. Corners, all edges and spine in fine protected condition. A superb example overall.
Inner Sleeve: EX-M. Original.

About the film:
Salt and Pepper is a 1968 comedy film starring Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Lawford, Michael Bates, Ilona Rodgers and John Le Mesurier. The film was directed by Richard Donner, who later would direct such blockbuster successes as Superman and Lethal Weapon.

It spawned a 1970 sequel, One More Time, directed by Jerry Lewis.

The plot:
Chris Pepper (Lawford) and Charlie Salt (Davis) own a nightclub in Swinging London, operating under the suspicious eye of the intrepid Inspector Crabbe.

One night, Pepper finds an Asian girl on the floor of the club. Assuming she's drunk or high, he makes a date with her and thinks she responds. It turns out the girl is dying, and her death sets off a chain of events that puts the unlucky Salt and Pepper onto a plot to overthrow the British government, with the girl's dying words the key.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
