Description

This is a listing for a used copy of John Fahey's album The Transfiguration of Blind Joe Death Volume 5 issued on Takoma Records R-9015 in 1973.  This copy comes with the booklet containing notes by Charles Holloway, Esq., by Riverboat Enterprises.  In addition, the paper sleeve was autographed by John Fahey.  
The front cover of the album is in good condition, the only flaws being some wear at the bottom corners.  The rear cover is clean, but has a very faint partial ghost of the record at the top center.  The autographed paper sleeve has some yellowing from age, mostly at the corners.  The signature is clearly written in ink.  The booklet with Charles Holloway's notes is complete, but does have some stains and a vertical crease.  Pictures have been provided.  Side 1 of the vinyl is clean and in good condition.  The only visible flaw being a small faint scratch on track 4 between the 1 and 2 o'clock positions.  Side 2 of the vinyl is clean with no obvious scratches or abrasions.


This record is from my personal collection, and is being sold because I no longer have a turntable.  Consequently I have described the record to the best of my ability.  I am not an expert, and leave judgement of condition to the purchaser.  This album comes from a smoke free home.  The pictures are part of the description.  Please ask any questions before purchase.  Thanks for looking!
