Description

John Fahey – Volume 6 / Days Have Gone By

Label: Takoma – C-1014

Format: Vinyl, LP, Album

Country: US

Released: 1967

Notes:

Original pressing with black & silver, parallel lines labels.

Condition:

  • Cover = Good Plus. Consistent light surface wear on the print throughout. Bottom right edge has a decent tear at corner. Small edge tear right corner. “Dixie” in ink on back. Otherwise solid with clean spine.
  • Vinyl = Good. Definitely has visible marks, especially under harsh light (please zoom into upper lighted area of vinyl for an idea of scratches). The most obvious scratch is visible in the photos on Side A. The good news is despite how jarring the long scratch looks, it appears to be surface and not deep etched. There are other smaller scratches throughout both sides. The vinyl itself on this original pressing does not have very pronounced grooves. There are no skips, but expect old-timey vinyl record playback (which I personally found a bit nostalgic and fitting with Fahey’s playing).
  • Insert = Please note this does not have the original booklet. I will ship in a plain inner sleeve for protection.
