Description
This is a listing for an Original Mono pressing of John Jenkins Kenny Burrell on Blue Note Records from 1957! This original pressing is extremely hard to find, and it's very difficult for me to sell. This is the original Mono pressing with the deep groove, Playstyllite Ear and RVG in the deadwax, 47 W 63rd address on the labels. The condition for the record is as follows:
Vinyl Grade: VG- Disc is covered in light marks and has some scuffs and scratches, a few of them being feelable to the touch. As with most of these old blue note Plastyllite pressings, it's built like a tank and plays WAY better than it looks. Solid VG listen, and background noise is mostly overpowered by the music. Some of the scuffs make light pops and clicks, but the record did not skip for me whatsoever.
Cover Grade: Fair Cover is pretty much totally split and held together by two pieces of duct tape on the top and bottom. Cover presents well, but it's pretty worn. Back is still readable, but has heavy wear and aging. Lots of staining as well.
Still a very playable copy of this incredibly rare OG Blue Note LP. Please let me know if you have any questions, or if you would like additional photos or video. The record will come shipped in a protective sleeve. Shipping cost reflects the price with insurance on the media mail.
