Description
Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting records in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!
Here is an enjoyable UK first issue copy of this 1967 live album from John Lee - with full electric band, including Muddy Waters and Otis Spann.

Cover - is front laminated with flip-backs, good condition- intact, not split, torn or written-on. Front has a few scallop creases, and ring-wear, just taking the shine off the lamination, in a circle. A few specks of this-and-that, which may clean-off. A little wear on corners, edges and spine are good. A little wear, tiny bumps, along the opening. Back is very good - grubby along the edges of the flip-backs, where lamination does not cover - as we often see. Discoloured due to handling along the opening, and a little patch where surface has worn away. To recap, good!
Record - visual inspection and then an audio test after that - side one has streaky marks on tracks 1, 3 and 4a few noticeable fingernail type marks, and some surface scratches. On side two, some short scratches and marks, and lots of surface scratches. Records of this vintage often play better than they look. I have had a good listen to this, quite loud on my posh hi-fi. I enjoyed it! The various damages do cause some crackles, quite often on side one, generally not loud but noticeable. There are a few louder crackles on the first track, and some loud ones at the very end of the side. Side two still has some quite quiet crackles, some louder ones at the start of track 2 - on the other hand, some trouble-free spells.. The album is a very nice live recording of an enjoyable show, nice big sound - and this record still has all that sound still on it, not worn out, just some crackles in amongst the music.
