Description

Allthough this record does not appear in the post war blues book, it was recorded in New York in 1960. Hooker takes a quieter approach than his earlier recordings for Vee Jay. He plays mostly acoustic guitar here with minimal backup, but back in the day this man could not make a bad record and this is no exception. 12 songs and not a bad one in the bunch. On the rare Battle label # 6113 mono copy. Vinyl is strong VG+. Cover has light damage on upper right spine, light ring wear and 1" split on bottom right seam.
