Description
Hard to find factory recorded John Lennon reel to reel tape “Plastic Ono Band” (Apple M 3372, 7 ½ IPS, with lyric insert) with Ringo Starr on drums. Billy Preston and Phil Spector provide backup on one track each.
The tracklist is: Mother/Hold On/I Found Out/Working Class Hero/Isolation/Remember/Well Well Well/look At Me/God/My Mummy’s Dead.
I play tested the tape and it plays fine for the most part. I did notice a couple of small creases that give an audible “snap” sound (not sure how else to describe it). On the first side it occurs before the music starts but on the reverse side it occurs during the last track. Someone more clever than me may be able to remove the sound but because of this I am placing a low minimum bid but also selling it “as-is”. The box is in excellent condition.
