Framed Gold Single & LP Record & Sleeve John Lennon Imagine - A Top Quality Item Purchased from the Beatles Store Mathew St Liverpool in the Early 1980s. This may be unique as it was the only one on offer.

I have checked with the Beatles Shop & although it was sold some years before the present manager started he was able to confirm it's origion, as being produced in the USA & it may well have been a one off Sample.

Under Glass, with a Satin Gilt metal Frame approx 25 x 19 inches are Two Shiny Gold Discs & The LP Cover. One is the LP Apple Records Imagine John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band (With the Flux Fiddlers) Stereo PAS 10004 (Yex.865) (P) 1971 - The Other is the Imagine Single (Tyce 21775) Northern Songs Ltd, (P) 1971 EMI Records Ltd, Mfd UK.

The owners have not displayed this & it is in Pristine Original Condition. - For detail check out the pictures

Imagine is home to John Lennon's most well known composition. A song that represents not only his entire output but also the cosmic sphere of that strange & elusive force known Universally as Peace. Peace was something that Lennon actually believed could be effected in his lifetime. Sadly Little would he know that the very antithesis of peace would be his Tragic Demise.

We have relisted this Quality & Possibly Unique Item with No Reserve. If we could bid ourselves on Items brought to us for Auction I would bid for this for myself. It has been very much admired while hung in the Auction House & is a Wonderful Talking Point.
