John Lennon - Imagine (UK Vinyl LP 1st Pressing with Poster & Postcard)
Great copy of this rare U.K. Vinyl LP with the original large fold-out poster and postcard. The white paper inner sleeve is a Apple Records Patent Nos 1125555 edition without the credits but with the Important Notice text near the bottom edge on each side. "Porky" and "Pecko" text etched in the dead wax.
The Vinyl is in Excellent condition. Glossy vinyl and great audio. Looks excellent+. Just a few light crackles on the run-in grooves and at the very start of Side 1 track 1 but the LP plays as excellent.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. Mostly Excellent+ with glossy laminate and clean unmarked top and bottom edges. Just one very small mark near the bottom right of the back cover (see photo).
The large fold-out poster is in Near Mint condition. It has never been wall mounted and has been carefully stored inside the sleeve from new.
The postcard is mainly in Excellent condition although there is writing on the back ( see photo).
The labels are clean and unmarked.
Released in 1971 by Apple Records Cat: PAS 10004 Matrix numbers: YEX 865-1U/YEX 866-1U.

I ALWAYS PLACE THE RECORD OUTSIDE THE OUTER SLEEVE TO ENSURE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE IN TRANSIT. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
